"When you take something out, you put something back."
The use of dentures and dental bridges to replace missing teeth is declining due to the ability to permanently affix artificial teeth in patients. It is estimated that the use of implants in the U.S. has grown by a 52% compounded annual growth rate between 1982 and 1992, over 300,000 implants were implanted in 1992 alone. Further, it is expected that the number of dental implants will continue growing at a rapid pace in the coming years.
Bioplant HTR Synthetic Bone alloplast provides the implant surgeon or restorative practitioner with the ideal grafting material for filling the bony voids around implants by:
Preserving the ridge at time of extraction for immediate denture stability, esthetics, and for future implant placement (Ridge Preservation).
Allowing after one year post-Ridge Augmentation or Preservation procedures, further treatment with titanium implants.
Allowing an onlay or inlay graft to be used with implants immediately placed in sockets post-extraction (to fill the bony void and to increase the buccal-lingual alveolar diameter around implants).
2) Allowing the placement of an inlay or onlay graft to treat the ailing implant (after the appropriate treatment of the metal surface).
Allowing as a bone graft void filler in conjunction with implant placement in general: i.e., filling bone void, defects, perforations, etc.
